Early Development

Together is still young, and we’re looking for fresh eyes to help us along the way. We need help from VFX and sound designers, UX/UI artists, and game designers to help us make this vision a reality!

What is Together?

Together is a narrative focused 2D side-scroller, which will tell the story of two brothers running from a malicious, shadowy figure. Together will depict potentially triggering events, with situations of sexual assault, with the intention of doing so safely and responsibly.

Why is this important?

I’m so glad you asked!

Games both digital and analog are incredible narrative vessels, with so much untapped potential. Together will try to tap some of this potential by presenting a story of trauma, a very difficult topic to openly discuss IRL. Our goal is give players hope for the future, by telling a story that often goes untold, and allowing them to overcome a situation that can be overwhelming outside the context of a game.

Our Values

This game is dedicated to those who need support and those support us, especially when things are at their worst. Everyone needs a shoulder to lean on from time to time, and sometimes those shoulders are attached to unlikely individuals. We want to foster a supportive and comfortable working environment for our team, and any who join it.

A Positive Impact

We are committed to making a game that isn’t just fun, but also impactful. Together may not be a competitor for AAA game titles, but it should leave a lasting impression on the people who do play it. We hope that with your help we’ll be able to realize our vision.

Project Overview

Together is a game about experiencing trauma, about leaning on those you can, and about finding a way forward when all you can think about is what’s behind you.

We are making a 2D sidescroller, in which 2 brothers must escape from a shadowy being who is never far behind. Keep your light close, and your brother closer. Without these things there is nothing to keep the Shadow at bay.
